Coronavirus

February 27, 2020

Dear Families and Employees,

Bonnie Academy Administration would like to provide an update regarding the Coronavirus (Covid-19). As of February 27, 2020, there is only one confirmed case in L.A. County. Fortunately, there are no cases of Coronavirus in our school community. It is important for us to have our students, families, and staff to remain healthy during this flu season.

Thus, we encourage everyone to take precautions to prevent the spread of illness.
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
• Cover your cough or sneeze
• Clean and disinfect frequently objects, toys, etc.
• If your child is sick, please keep them home

Please watch out of signs or symptoms:
• Fever
• Cough
• Shortness of breath

Our top priority is the health and safety of our students and staff. We take this responsibility very seriously. Please be assured that we are closely working with the LA County Public Health Department and our regulatory agency California Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division. We will follow their recommendations as soon as they are given to us. Meanwhile, we will continue our daily monitoring and sanitizing our facility. We are asking our parents to follow our wellness policy of 24 hours of being symptoms free before returning to school. This means no fever or any flu-like symptoms such as runny nose, coughing, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Thank you for working with us to maintain a healthy, calm and safe learning environment for our students. If you have any questions, please contact us at (818)244-3241 or Email (bonnieacademy@gmail.com) for further information about Coronavirus please visit www.publichealth.lacounty.gov
